About AR
Wau Bulan is an AR experience designed for Starhill Mall, Kuala Lumpur, where users can see a majestic Wau Bulan kite emerging from the mall, brought to life with vibrant traditional patterns and animations.

This immersive experience highlights the cultural significance of the Wau Bulan. It raises awareness about the endangered Malayan tiger, the dying culture of tekat emas, and the struggles of kite makers, all while capturing the mystical essence of the kite’s flight.

The project aims to preserve and protect this dying art form, inviting users to explore and appreciate its heritage through a guided narrative.
About AR
My ARca artwork are the characters from my graffiti sketch. Over the years I’ve come up with a couple of characters that suit my style of drawing and bringing it to 3D for this project was a highlight for me. Interact with them and see them in action!
About AR
The idea is to use Augmented Reality as a medium to host the intangible assets. Our interest is to explore whether childhood memories can be deployed as a source of creative renewal, a tangible asset which functions as a representation of Malaysian culture. The objective is to evoke digital nostalgia using intangible assets based on Malaysian culture.
About AR
Experience Malaysia’s cultural heritage brought to life through advanced volumetric technology. We captured individuals representing Malaysia’s diverse customs and transformed them into 3D figures, adorned with animated batik flowers that reflect our local craftsmanship. WarisanXR seamlessly blends technology with tradition, celebrating the vibrant colours that define our nation.

About AR
“Nasi Campur Lanskap” is an artwork that symbolises the blending and fusion of Malaysian food culture. The abstract landscape, with its soft, interconnected forms and flowing contours, mirrors the concept of communal dining, where diverse dishes are shared and mixed together.

Each organic shape in the artwork represents the variety of flavours and textures found in Malaysian cuisine, reflecting the “campur-campur” (mix-and-match) philosophy.

The harmonious melding of different elements in the piece mirrors how different cultures and culinary traditions come together to create a unique and inclusive Malaysian identity.

The warm, inviting colours and fluid composition evoke the sense of unity and comfort experienced when people gather to share a meal, celebrating the richness and diversity of their heritage.
About AR
The flying ‘Kancil’ symbolises the cancelled future, specifically referencing the ambitious “Wawasan 2020,” which imagined a flying car realised by the year 2020. Despite all efforts, this “Made in Malaysia “ dream remains confined to the literary utopia of politicians.

Our lost futures remain unrealised, existing only in the propaganda of politicians, serving as haunting reminders of an aborted past. Mark Fisher’s notion of “Hauntology,” refers to the slow cancellation of the future. The idea of a lost future forms the very backbone of the economic narrative within this project.
About AR
See “Tiny Moving Place” in real size as it circles around, taking all our guests on a little journey within its cozy cottage on wheels. Look out for the fat cat butler on the second floor! I brought this AR to the heart of KL because “tiny moving experience” can be experienced anywhere—even in the city.
